I LOVE this place! Such a great selection of local, handmade goods and art. I always come here to buy gifts for friends and family. To top it off, they have the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever seen AND they give out free popcorn. I couldn’t not recommend this place enough!!

The Mill District General Store is a total delight. You’ll find a wide variety of thoughtfully chosen items — from home goods and kids’ gifts to art supplies, local products, and even snacks like salsa and chips. It’s the kind of place where you can find something special for yourself or the perfect gift for someone else. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything feels curated with care. A lovely little gem in the heart of The Mill District!

I stopped in here to speak with Shannan about displaying my art and doing some classes possibly. What an amazing place !Everybody in the area needs to come here at least once ….Jessica, who was running the checkout and desk area was so helpful , kind and you could tell she cared about her job. I think Jessica needs a raise if she worked for me I would give her one!

General country store combined with local art gallery. Fun to look around, good quality soaps. Candles and some nostalgic stuff. Did buy some homegrown popcorn to try. Little high priced but turned out to be absolutely delicious. Recommend stopping by has a little something for everyone

Sweet and attractive shop with all sorts of goodies. Start by getting a cuppa Esselon coffee, or hot tea. Then browse the vintage candies, maple syrup, household goods (I saw a really cute measuring set for the kitchen). Opposite the entrance end you'll find an artist gallery with affordable art and jewelry. In between the gallery and general store you'll find art supplies! Oh and the owners are pretty darn friendly!

This store has a really great collection of unique items for gifts, and there is also a large variety. The owner/staff are truly excellent, kind people. I've bought many unique gifts here, and had a fun time with my family. They also have some seating, a checkers play area, and an assortment of candy. Highly recommend going when you need a reliable place to find gifts. They also have some resources for finding local events, which is really nice. I also enjoyed the popcorn we got at the cash register 😄
